Communion Classes - Part 2 (of 2)

Fifth grade children and their families have a wonderful opportunity to participate in our church’s Communion classes led by Reverend Hamilton Throckmorton and Reverend Mark Simone. These classes will be held on Thursday February 16th and Tuesday February 21st from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at the Bell Street building.

Designed with 5th graders and their parents in mind, classes focus on the meaning and mystery of the Sacrament and include lecture, dialogue, small group discussion and fellowship. The Lord’s Supper is at the very core of our faith, making this a most meaningful step in the religious journey of these children. Also invited to participate in these classes and Communion are 6th, 7th and 8th graders and their families who have been unable to attend in past years or are new to the church.

Children completing the class will be recognized during Youth Sunday services on March 4th.
